What Is BMI

Most people always find it hard to determine their Body Mass Index or BMI,  This  can be explained as a variety determined by identifying the amount of bodyweight someone provides against his or her height size. So Basically it is a ratio of your weight against your height.  BMI calculating is not for  figuring out excess fat percentage in your body, rather is designed with a general graph  or chat  that helps determine if you are obessed or underweight which inturn helps you realize if there's  a possibility for you to have weight related issues.

But it should be noted that BMI score does not neccessarily mean that you are unhealthy but rather an indication of you body ratio. so basically even if you could have a threatning BMI , it does not mean you not healthy but instead it tells you that you might have to drop your weight so it could be in proportion to your height.
So now that we got that point across we need to see exactly how to go about when working out your BMI.

How To Calculate Your BMI

Your body mass Index can either be calculated manually or using a BMI calculating Device.

Calculate BMI Manually Using A Formula :

Using weight in KG's And Height In Meters
1. Measure your weight in kilograms
2. Workout your height in Meters
3. Square Your Height
4. Then devide your weight by the number in step 3

example :

BMI=    (weight in kg)  / (height in meters)(height in meters)
